She has been married to the love of her life and business partner for 29 years. Dana and Kalani have one son who has generously given them three grandchildren. Yes, they are older than they look. Their son, along with his wife, serves on active duty in the Air Force. Dana has followed Kalani around most of his military career accumulating degrees: a Bachelor's in Communications from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and a Master's in Management from Troy University. Dana worked in the corporate world most of her working life, but has always had the desire to own her own business. Tailored Living has been a 'tailored' fit! Dana's free time is spent running a non profit, Seeds of Hope Home, working with at risk and sexually exploited children in Costa Rica. Dana is also a Rotarian and serves as a leader at her church in Escondido, The Xchange.
Eugene 'Kalani' Nuesca was born and raised on the island paradise of Maui. He joined the Marine Corps after high school as he wanted to travel the world and fulfill his life long desire of being an aircraft mechanic. He was assigned to helicopters which was a bonus because then he could fix and fly. His career took him to magical places, and His twilight tour ended at HMX-1, with the President's Helicopter Squadron, where he was in charge of maintenance. He held that position for 8 years before moving back to the West Coast to settle for good. Kalani holds a Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Kalani also serves as a leader at The Xchange and has a love for the outdoors: hunting, biking, and motocross.
